The Club joined The Anglers National Line Recycling Scheme back at the beginning of 2023 and later in the year we were allowed by the Council to place the collection pipe down on Velator Quay. So please feel free to recycle your old line down there.

It is estimated that UK anglers of all disciplines use 1.25 million kilometers of line each year … that’s enough to go to the moon 3 times !! 

600 years for heavy monofilament to degrade. So please use our bin on the Quay.
